Promising film director, Marcelo Bukin explores people’s every-day lives around the world, combining pure realism and art. Marcelo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and graduated in Centre d' Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya, Barcelona.	After creating several Short films in Spain, Bukin was head of production on “The Children of Nepal”, winner of the Goya Award 2004, Best Documentary Short Film.

Dpointgroup is proud to communicate that the short film Angel's Fire (Fuego de Angel), directed by Marcelo Bukin for Global Humanitaria, obtained the "distinguished Short Documentary Award" last December 2006, at the prestigious IDA Awards gala ceremony in Los Angeles.

When Marcelo Bukin collected the prize, presented by the actor Morgan Freeman, he described his film as "a kind of poem about the sacrifice of souls and bodies".
